Unfortunately, Alaskan Malamutes are susceptable to certain health issues and problems. Although through research some of these conditions are known to be hereditary, nutrition and enviromental issues may contribute to the development of some of these diseases, known to the malamute breed.
Responsible breeders screen their dogs and do veterinary
